Samsung really knows how to generate hype on every product it’s releasing. When the company has released its Galaxy Note 5, it was available only for North America and Asia. Back then, nobody mentioned, even when asked, if the device will be released sometime in other regions.

Back then, Samsung’s official respond was that it has “no plans” to release it in other regions. However, a lot of rumors have surfaced in the past months, saying that at the beginning of 2016, the Galaxy Note 5 could reach the European and UK retailers.

In December, Holly Brockwell from Gadgette website claimed that according to one of her trusted sources, the Galaxy Note 5 will be released in the UK in “late January 2016. This rumor was also confirmed by AndroidCentral’s own sources.

Galaxy Note 5 Specifications

The Galaxy Note 5 comes with a 5.7-inches Super AMOLED display that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 518 ppi. The display is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 which will make sure that it will not crack very easy.

The device features an Exynos 7420 chipset that’s formed from a quad-core Cortex A57 processor clocked at 2.1GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The device also features 4GB of RAM, a Mali-T760MP8 graphic card and it is available in three storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.

The primary camera that the Galaxy Note 5 comes with has a resolution of 16MP and it’s found on the rear side of the device, while the secondary camera has only 5MP and it’s found on the front side of the phablet. The device is powered by a battery of 3000 mAh which, unfortunately, can’t be removed.
