The LG V10 comes with some high-end specifications and today we’re thinking that a good smartphone that we can put against it is Apple’s iPhone 6S Plus. We remind you that the iPhone 6S Plus was released back in September 2015, while the LG V10 was released a month later, in October 2015.

Sizes & Weights

The iPhone 6S Plus is a bit smaller compared to the LG V10. The iPhone 6S Plus measures 158.2×77.9×7.3mm, while the LG V10 measures 159.6×79.3×8.6mm. According to GSMArena, the two devices have the same weight of 192 grams.

Displays

The iPhone 6S Plus comes with a 5.5-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi. The display features “force touch display”, “display zoom” and it’s protected by an ion-strengthened glass.



On the other hand, the LG V10 features a 5.7-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that supports a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 515 ppi and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Cameras

The iPhone 6S Plus has a primary camera of 12MP that features dual-Led flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, simultaneous 4K video and 8MP image recording, smile/face detections. As for the secondary camera, the iPhone 6S Plus features a 5MP one. The primary camera of the iPhone 6S Plus is able to record at 2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps, 1080p@120fps and 720p@240fps while the secondary camera can record at 1080p@30fps and 720p@240fps.

The LG V10 comes with a primary camera of 16MP that features laser autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, smile/face detection, panorama, HDR and touch focus. The camera is able to record videos at 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps and 720p@120fps. The device also features a secondary camera that has 5MP.

Processors, Graphic Cards & RAM

The iPhone 6S Plus comes with an Apple A9 chipset, a dual-core Twister processor clocked at 1.84GHz and a PowerVR GT 7600 (six-core) graphic card. The LG V10 features a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 chipset formed from a quad-core Cortex A53 clocked at 1.44GHz and a dual-core Cortex A57 clocked at 1.82GHz. The LG V10 also features an Adreno 418 GPU.

When it comes to RAM, LG V10 is way better than iPhone 6S Plus, as Apple’s device has only 2GB, while LG’s device has 4GB. As you can see, LG V10 clearly wins in this department.

Storages

The iPhone 6S Plus comes in three storage variants: 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. Unfortunately, this device doesn’t feature a card slot, which means that you will need to be very careful when you purchase it, as you will not be able to expand its storage.

The LG V10 comes with 64GB internal storage, but it features a card slot, which allows you to expand its storage up to 200GB using a microSD card.
