In this day and age, we feel helpless without our smartphones. It’s our friend, guidance, and personal daily driver. We basically live with our smartphones and overtime our phones get dirty. It’s a well-known fact that cell phones are dirty objects. Each square inch of our phones contains roughly 25,000 germs. We know that a water-proof phone already exists, but how about when your phone is soiled with oil? We can’t wash off oil stains with water. Luckily Kyocera, a company from Japan created the world’s first soap-proof smartphone and it’s called Digno Rafre.

The Digno Rafre is designed to withstand any dirty environment with ease because it can easily be washed with soap. This phone is designed to be used in the kitchen, outdoors, even in the bath according to Kyocera. The phone is also integrated with a TV tuner—so you can watch TV on this phone. The phone’s special characteristic is that it can withstand hot water up to 43 degree Celsius.

This phone comes in three color choices: Navy Blue, Cashmere White, and Coral Pink. Kyocera claimed to have a touchscreen that works even when it’s wet and it is protected by Dragontrail X glass. This phone comes with a 5 inch touchscreen display with 720p display. The Digno Rafre comes with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage that can expanded up to 128 GB by a microSD card. As for the camera, it comes with a 13 megapixel camera onboard.

The phone runs on the latest Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and is powered by a massive 3000 mAh non-removable battery. It measures 71.00 x 141.00 x 10.10 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 155.00 grams.

The Kyocera accepts a single regular SIM and GSM compatible. It has all types of connectivity such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE. It’s already released in Japan and sold for ¥57,420, or about $474.
