It seems that the big search engine company is trying to make your holiday travels a little less stressful. Google has announced a few new Inbox updates that will be released next week for its Gmail application.
This new update will simplify the process of sharing with your friends and family your travel plans and photos. We remind you that Gmail’s Inbox already comes with a feature that’s called “Trip Bundles”. This feature automatically grabs information from all various emails that are related to some upcoming trips such as car rental, hotel reservations, flight booking etc., and gives you the most important information such as flight time or hotel name.
Starting from next week, you will be able to share these summaries with your family and friends with only a single tap. This will save you some precious time and at the same time you will be able to inform your loved ones when you’re about to get at the destination, so they can pick you up.
At the same time, you will be able to view trips offline just in case there is no Wi-Fi network around or if the mobile connection is very weak and you can’t load emails very fast.
Google is also trying to make it very easy for you to share your holiday snaps. According to Google, an improved mobile attachment will give you quick access to your recent photos, allowing you to attach multiple photos at once and send them to your friends and family.
All these new features will be released for the Inbox by Gmail users next week. We remind you that the Gmail application was released back in October 2014 and, until then, the application has received many new improvements. At first, Gmail was available only for those with an invitation, but now anyone can use it without any kind of restriction.
