The Sims 4 is a very popular game and it seems that the console owners will be able to finally play this game. Unfortunately, we can’t say the same for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners, as these consoles are pretty old and their specifications can’t support a game like this.
EA Games has recently announced that the Sims 4 will be released in different formats, order to make sure that they will please those who are playing games on their PS4 or Xbox One. We agree that The Sims 4 didn’t have the best launch, as many gamers complained about the removal of the “create a style” feature, smaller plots and the inability to visit the town when their Sims went to work.
However, in the past few months, EA Games has worked a lot and released some DLCs for this game that brought back some of the missing features. At the same time, the Sims 4 also came with an improved construction system and improved personalities for each character.
The Sims 3 was released back in 2009 for PC and it was later available for consoles, in October 2010. On the other hand, The Sims 4 was released in September 2014 and a console version of this game will most likely arrive in the first quarter of 2016.
Unfortunately, EA Games, hasn’t confirmed when exactly The Sims 4 for Xbox One and PS4 will be released. Let’s not forget that EA Games has always ported the Sims game to new consoles and this normally takes around two years, after the PC version is released.
There are very low chances that The Sims 4 will be released for current-generation consoles before Christmas, so we should assume that the game will come for both the PS4 and Xbox One sometime in February-March 2016.
Will you purchase The Sims 4 once it will be released for PS4 or Xbox One?
