If you use a Nexus device with Android 6.0 installed and you have a few problems, the new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update could remedy them.

In theory, the people at Google are quite effective in bringing to the market new versions of its mobile operating system. Unfortunately, due to fragmentation of the platform, caused by the large number of device manufacturers, few of us get to enjoy them. If you have a fascination for the latest updates, your only solution is to target a Nexus smartphone or tablet. Already done that? Congratulations, from today you have access to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

There were increasingly more rumors for several weeks of a new minor Android version, and now it’s materialized. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow officially launched for the Nexus users, and in the coming weeks or months to reach people who use other gadgets.

From one point of view, with Android 6.0.1, Google follows the footsteps of Apple. A few months ago, with the release of iOS 9.1, the Cupertino giant open the access to a big range of emoticons, many of them available only on the Apple platform. With Android 6.0.1, Mountain View giant has done the same.

Basically, in the spotlight, if you install Android 6.0.1, are emoticons, the announcement was made via a post on Twitter carried by the Nexus official account -googlenexus. Thus, we find that in total you can use no more than 200 new emoticons to convey your emotions in a graphical way.

Android 6.0.1 also comes with new features and solutions to various problems recently detected, some users have noticed a new navigation sidebar, while others were excited to observe the “Do Not Disturb” mode in the settings.
