Launch The Camera By Double Tapping The Power Button
Samsung has started this trend in 2015, after releasing its Galaxy S6 with the option to double tap on its home button in order to launch the camera. This feature is supported by the Nexus 5X as well, so when double tapping the physical home button, no matter if you’re in a menu, app or if the device is locked, the camera will be launched.
How To Set Up Tap And Pay
Google has added fingerprint support in Android Marshmallow, for Android Pay and the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P come with a fingerprint scanner on their backs. Since we’re talking about the Nexus 5X, here’s how you can set up Tap and Pay and use it for wireless payments. The first thing you’ll do is to enable NFC from Settings > Wireless & networks > More > NFC. Now, you’ll go to Settings > Security > Nexus imprint, where you’ll register your fingerprint. Then, you’ll go to the Google Play store, from where you’ll need to download a payment application, and after that, you’ll open Settings and go to Tap & pay set the payment app. Now, you’ll be able to make mobile payments.
Google Now On Tap
Google Now is the personal assistant which provides information when the users are making voice commands, and it’s able to predict what they want, based on their search habits. Google Now on Tap will monitor the screen and depending on what it’s displayed, it will make suggestions such as links with reviews for movies, or artist pages etc. That’s if you’re reading an email from someone who told you about a movie or a band, the feature can be enabled by going to Settings > Google > Search & now > Now cards > Now on Tap.
If you want to know how much battery you have left, there’s a small battery icon somewhere at the top of the screen, but it won’t show the actual percentage. Don’t worry, there’s the System UI Tuner option and to get it, you’ll bring down the Quick Settings menu (by using two fingers and swiping down from the top of the screen) and tap and hold the settings button for 5 seconds. After letting go of the button, you will be asked if you want to enable System UI Tuner. Just answer Yes and the System UI Tuner will show up at the bottom of the Settings list.
