A few days ago, Google has released a new version of its Play Store and the file has a size of 14.45 MB. Google Play Store 6.0.5 can be installed on any Android device running on at least version 2.3+ (Gingerbread) and it brings a better experience thanks to the latest security updates, bug fixes and performance improvements.
This update comes almost one month later, after Google has released version 6.0.0 with a complete design overhaul, looking better than ever. As normal, the update brought bug fixes and it was more stable than all previous versions, but the developers continued to work on the application, because there’s always more room for improvements.
Google Play Store is the application which comes installed on most of the Android devices. The users need to create a Google account and with it, they continue to Google Play, where they search for applications, games, music, books and movies. But, the Play Store app has its own problems, bugs and stability issues and needs to be improved every once in a while.
Although we haven’t seen an official changelog for the Google Play Store 6.0.5 APK, we’ve figured out that the update contains bug fixes, patches and security problems, and that the developers have improved its stability and reliability. The previous version came with many bugs which were causing applications to crash and to force close, so 6.0.5 updated APK solved these problems.
In the near future, Google will most likely add new options, as according to rumors, the users will get the shared Family Library, which will allow them to share paid content with their family members. Another expected feature is Gift, with which the users will be able to send someone content from the Play Store in the form of a gift. Also, the application is expected to receive a new process to add payment methods using NFC.
If you’re downloading the Play Store 6.0.5 APK file from a third party source, then you will need to enable the Unknown sources option, by checking the box in front of it. Only this way you will be able to install the application.
