The developers of WhatsApp have released a new version of this application for Android devices. The WhatsApp 2.12.360 is the latest BETA version for Android and it can now be downloaded and installed on your mobile device.

However, the WhatsApp 2.12.360 doesn’t comes with any new features but it contains fixes of some bugs that the developers have found and also improves the stability of the application.

We remind you that some rumors surfaced a few weeks ago, claiming that the WhatsApp application will get a Video Calling feature in the near future. If this proves to be true, it will surely make more users to install the WhatsApp application on their smartphones. Unfortunately, these rumors have not been confirmed by the developers, so we should take the news with a bit of salt.

WhatsApp 2.12.360: How To Install On Android Device

WhatsApp 2.12.360 is currently in BETA phase and it can’t be installed from the Google Play Store. Instead, you will need to download the APK (installation) file from the internet and install it on your Android device.

HINT: Make sure that you enable the “Unknown Sources” option before trying to install an APK file that you’ve downloaded from a third party source. Depending on the Android OS version that your device is running on, this option ca be found on your device’s Settings->Security or Settings->Applications.

After enabling “Unknown Sources” option, go to and download the WhatsApp 2.12.360 APK file. When the download is complete, go to the location where you’ve saved the APK file and tap on it to start the installation process.
