Android has such a wide collection of smartphones available that choosing which one is the best is kind of the hardest task many buyers face.

This year has seen major companies, including Samsung, Motorola, LG, Sony, HTC as well as Google itself, coming up with a mind-blowing collection of flagships with amazing features on offer. However, it is not always possible to satisfy every taste in the market and if by this time you haven’t come across a smartphone model that impressed you, perhaps the new HTC One A9 will just do that.

This device was recently unveiled by HTC and other than coming in as one of the most beautiful smartphones this company has ever created, the One A9 is also a very powerful gizmo.

Beautiful design and finish

HTC is renowned for its beautiful models, but this new A9 model is on another planet as far as beauty is concerned. The One A9 boasts of a beautiful metal body with an amazing dual finish that features a bead-blasted and polished hairline-brushed detail.

An equally boasting feature of the A9 is its 5-inch edge to edge full HD display screen that comes with solid protection in the form of the Gorilla Glass 4. According to HTC, the new phone’s display quality produces up to 40% more color when compared to normal LCD screens.

Looks are not everything

HTC is very much aware that simply having a beautiful smartphone will not get the customers to buy this new gizmo. A combination of both beauty and sheer power and performance is what a phone actually needs in order to attract more users.

This is exactly what HTC One A9 brings to the fold – a powerful gadget enclosed in a very beautiful casing. Inside this phone you will find a Qualcomm-based octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor that is based on 64-bit architecture. The phone will be powered by the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow in addition to the HTC Sense interface and according to the phone maker; this phone delivers a “simple and smooth-running UI”.

On the rear of the phone is a 13MP snapper that features a sapphire cover lens. To complement this camera, HTC added the optional RAW capture, Pro mode, hyperlapse, as well as highlight reel features to the A9. You will also find better sound on this device thanks to the integrated BoomSound as well as Dolby Audio Surround technologies. The A9 also comes with in-built DAC that delivers 24-bit sound in addition to a high-output headset amp.

HTC will be selling the One A9 in two variants based on on-board storage capacity. The base model will feature 16GB on-board memory and 2GB RAM while the top-end model will come with 32GB of internal memory and 3GB RAM. The on-board memory can be expanded using a microSD of up to 2TB.

The new HTC One A9 will start selling this coming November, but pre-orders are currently available for $399.99. However, this price is for promotional purposes and it is thus limited to time.
