It seems that the developers of WhatsApp continue to support the not very popular platforms. Today we’re going to talk about the WhatsApp version for Nokia Asha and other devices that run on Symbian S40, such as Nokia Asha 201 or Nokia C3.
The latest WhatsApp version for Symbian S40 is 2.13.18 and it was just released by the developers of this great application. Unfortunately, the new WhatsApp version doesn’t come with any new features, however, the new WhasApp version contains usual bug fixes and other improvements that will make the application run smoother than before.
The WhatsApp version 2.13.18 installation (jar) file has been increased by only 82KB compared to the previous stable version (2.13.9) and it contains 1519 modified files. In addition, the developers have deleted the thumbnails file and added 61 files, which might be some features that will be enabled in the near future.

The WhatsApp 2.13.18 is currently in BETA phase, which means that you will need to manually download the jar file from the internet and install it on your Symbian S40 device. So, open the browser on your Symbian S40 device and go to the whatsapp.com/s40 webpage. When the page loads, you will see a “Download Button” and once you select it, you will start download the WhatsApp 2.13.18 JAR file on your device, once the jar file has been downloaded on your mobile device, just head to the location where you’ve saved it and select it to start the installation process of the latest WhatsApp BETA version for your Symbian S40 device.
HINT: Keep in mind that since the WhatsApp 2.13.18 is currently in BETA phase, you will most likely find bugs and other issues that will eventually get fixed once the version passes the BETA phase.
