Mobile device manufacturers already released a list of devices that will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. According to reports, Sony Mobile will firstly release the Android 6.0 Marshmallow on the Xperia Z series.
According to Sony Mobile, there is already a build for the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow and it is being tested on the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact devices, the build was released only for a small amount of users.
HTC One M9 To Receive The Android 6.0 Marshmallow Before The End Of 2015
HTC, the Taiwanese Tech Company, is the third manufacturer that will receive the Android Marshmallow update on its current devices. According to the latest reports, some devices that are manufactured by HTC will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update before the end of 2015.
HTC has already announced a few devices that will receive the Android M such as the HTC One A9, One M8, One M9 and One M9+.
Some leaked images of the HTC One M9 device in the US, revealed that the device is currently tested with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow and it seems that the OTA update will be released earlier than expected.
It is just a matter of time until more and more devices will start running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Unfortunately, most of the devices will receive the latest Android OS update sometime in Q1-Q2 2016.
