When you install WhatsApp on a smartphone, the user needs to enter his/her personal number in order to create an account. The biggest disadvantage is that once the account is associated to that number, the user won’t be able to log from another smartphone, in the same time, because the application checks for your number, and if it doesn’t find a match, it will require you to re-verify so you can use it again. Normally, you can log into your WhatsApp account using two or more phones, but this isn’t impossible, because someone found a way to cheat the system.
In order to log into your account on two different phones, simultaneously, you will need a second phone with an internet connection and which can function even if you don’t insert a SIM card.
On this phone you will open one of the browsers you’ve installed on it, then head to web.whatsapp.com. This feature usually works with PCs, as it displays a QR code which needs to be scanned using the camera of the phone which has WhatsApp installed on it.
In this case, the second phone with which you’ll access the web.whatsapp.com site will take you to the WhatsApp home page. Depending on the type of browser you’re using, in its Options you’ll find “Request desktop site” and when tapping on it, the webpage with a QR code will be displayed. Now, use your main phone on which you’ve installed WhatsApp, then go to options/settings and tap on WhatsApp Web. The QR scanner will be launched and you’ll use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code displayed on the other phone. After the main phone scans and identifies the code on the second phone, you’ll be able to use WhatsApp on both of them.
As long as you’ll be logged on the main phone, you’ll run the application on the other device. But, the problem is that the interface is optimized for desktop use, so you’ll need to switch to landscape model to enjoy chatting with your friends.
