The budget-friendly OnePlus X is going up against the Moto X Play, the former will be available in the month of November while the latter device has been up for grabs from the month of August. Don’t go anywhere if you don’t want to miss this smackdown.
The new OnePlus X showcases a 5-inch AMOLED display having Full HD, resolution of 1920×1080 (441ppi) while its opponent the Moto X Play has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display and resolution of 1920×1080 (403ppi). Note: The Moto X Play can be yours in a single /double SIM model.
Chipsets, RAM and Storage Options
A 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and Adreno 330 graphics are included in the OnePlus X gizmo while the Moto X Play packs a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and Adreno 405 graphics. The OnePlus X contains 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (it can be expanded up to 128GB), the Moto X Play on the other hand has just 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB storage choices which can also be expanded to 128GB.
Snappers and Battery Capacity
A 13MP back end rear snapper is included in the OnePlus X device, the latter also has LED flash and the front snapper is an 8MP one. The Moto X Play has a 21MP snapper added in the back as well, it has a phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash and the front facing snapper is a 5MP one, the OnePlus X has a 2525mAh one whilst the Moto X Play has a bigger, 3630mAh battery unit.
Costs and OS
The OS that is available on the OnePlus X gizmo is the latest Android Lollipop and the user interface is OxygenOS while the Moto X Play has stock Android Lollipop and it is qualified to receive the Android M.
For pricing, the OnePlus X Onyx version retails for £199, this means Rs. 16.999, the 16 GB variant of the Moto X Play device will cost you £279 (Rs 18,499).
