In version 2.3, Viber added smileys and the latest version brought Group Likes, where the users are “liking” other friends’ vibes; Forward Public Chat messages, allowing the users to share content more easily; the text messages support now up to 7,000 characters; the video messaging experience has been improved and Public Chats are now available on Android tablets.

You can download the version from Viber’s official website or from third party websites, but in this case, you need to enable to Unknown Source option by tapping the box in front of it, but you must go to Settings > Applications. The application is also available on the Google Play store, and in this case, you don’t need to enable the Unknown Source option.

You should know that the application is free and the voice calls to other Viber users are also free. But you are able to call landline and mobile numbers using the Viber Out service and the rates are very low.
