Android 6.0 Marshmallow was officially released by Android, but that doesn’t mean that all devices will get it very fast, however, until the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be released for your Galaxy Note 3 or S4 Mini, you should stick to the latest Android Lollipop update.
The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes with a fix for the controversial bug known as Stagefright, which could allow hackers to connect to your device and steal your personal information (such as bank account, full name, email addresses, passwords etc).
We remind you that the Galaxy Note 3 Neo was released back in February 2014 and it seems that the Android Lollipop is finally rolling out for this device in Korea, the update will be available via OTA update or Kias and it will be compatible with the devices that have the following model numbers: SM-N750K, SM-N750S and SM-N750L.

At the same time, the Galaxy S4 Mini LTE (GT-I9195) can now be upgraded to the SlimLP Android 5.1.1 Lollipop custom ROM. However, if you’re planning to update your device to this custom ROM, you should know that the device must be rooted or else it will not work.

Copy the GPE Android 5.1.1 Lollipop custom ROM zip file and save it to the microSD card that’s attached to your Galaxy S4 Mini, turn off the device and disconnect it from the computer, boot into recovery mode by holding down the Home+Power+Volume Up buttons and once the recovery mode loads make sure that you clear the memory by selecting the wipe data/factory reset function, you will also wipe the cache by pressing the “wipe cache” partition.
Finally, you will be able to install the custom ROM by going back to the main recovery screen and selecting “install zip from SD card”. After doing this, you will have to select the GPE Android 5.1.1 Lollipop custom ROM zip file and wait until it gets installed on your device.
Once the custom ROM is installed, tap “Go Back” and restart the device using the “reboot system now” button, your Galaxy S4 Mini will now boot into GPE Android Lollipop custom ROM.
