Google has started rolling out its last Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS for its Nexus devices, soon enough, this OS will also be released for other devices that run on Android such as the Moto X Pure Edition (2015).

According to David Schuster, the Software product manager at Motorola, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow test has already begun for the Moto X Pure Edition 2015, however, this is just an initial test and it will take a few more weeks until the latest Android OS will be released for the device we’ve mentioned above.

There are some rumors saying that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be released in November 2015, but we think that there are very low chances for this to happen.

Nexus 6P: Android 6.0 Marshmallow factory images available for download

Nexus 6P is Google’s latest Android device out there, which runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, however, it seems that the big search engine company has also released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update factory images.

The factory images are available in two builds: MDB08K and MDA89D, but it’s not sure yet if these images are specific to some carrier-based models such as T-Mobile or Project-Fi.

The two Android 6.0 Marshmallow builds can be downloaded from, but we suggest you to just wait for the OTA update, and since you’ve just purchased the Nexus 6P it is just better to wait for the update to be released over-the-air. We’re not sure yet what these new builds come with, but we will let you know as soon as we find out.

Do you own a Nexus 6P device? Have you received the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow build MDB08K or MDA89D OTA update on it yet?
