LG has already started rolling out the Android OS version update for its G4 device, with other words, it is just a matter of time until the developers will release some nice custom ROMs for this device.
However, if you want to install the official Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS ROM for your LG G4, it is possible, because the guys who are members of the XDA Developers group have published the Android Marshmallow firmware for this smartphone.
However, keep in mind that this ROM will only work for the LG G4 – version H815 and in order to install it on your device, you will need the bootloader unlocked (use the LG’s official unlock tool to do this), at the same time, you will need to install the TWRP version 2.8.7 (or later) on your device.
If you meet all these requirements, you will need to download the LG-H81520A-Flashable.System.zip, LG-H81520A-Flashable.Modem.zip, LG-H81520A-Flashable.Boot.zip and LG-H81520A-Flashable.Bootloader.zip from the XDA Developers website.
First, you will need to flash the system and boot the zips, after that, flash the bootloader and modem zips.
HINT: Make sure that you don’t wipe the system partition until you’ll flash the bootloader!

We agree that this custom ROM comes with some bugs that can be quite annoying, but according to some feedbacks, it seems that the OnePlus One device runs pretty good on it, some of the bugs that some users have reported include the Wi-Fi connection which sometimes can cause reboots, at the same time, it seems that the NFC feature can’t be disabled.
As long as you’re fine with these bugs, you can download the custom ROM and install it on your OnePlus One device.
HINT: We remind you that the in order to install the Android Marshmallow custom ROM on your OnePlus One device, you will need to firstly unlock the bootloader of the device.
