In September 2015, Microsoft has released a public beta version of its Xbox Application for Windows 10 OS. This way, the gamers will be able to provide feedback for the new features that this application came without, before it will get released to the “general public”.
On October 23, 2015, Microsoft has announced a few new features that the Xbox Beta application has received. It seems that this great application has now a few social sharing tools that you can use.
One of the new features allows you to search for your Facebook friends who have their accounts linked to the Xbox Live. This way, you will be adding new Facebook friends as your Xbox Live friends. The whole idea is to make it easier for the Xbox gamers to find people to play with.
All you will need to do is to link your Facebook account to your Xbox Live account and from there you will be able to add any Facebook friend who has his Facebook account linked to his Xbox Live account.
The Game DVR also gets a new feature with this new beta update. It seems that by using the new Xbox Beta version you will be able to record yourself while narrating the game clips as you play. With other words, you will no longer have to go back to a video editing application in order to add a voice-over.
Microsoft also added a few improvements to the application, such as the overhauled Xbox store that features Windows 10 games and Xbox games. The new store also features improved the search functionality and code redemptions.
Anyone who has a pc running on Windows 10 can try out the new Xbox Beta application for free and provide feedback for Microsoft. To try out this new application, you will just need to head to the Microsoft store and download the latest version of the Xbox Live application.
