Since the Android was released, Google has allowed its partner OEMs to mould the mobile operating system as they want, but with a few limits. Years have passed and Google has started to put more limits than before.
However, it is good to know that the manufacturers have still the ability to tweak a few critical aspects of the Android Lollipop or older. This is about to change with the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow and from now on, all applications will need to request permission before they gain access to some protected features.
Also, the users of Android 6.0 Marshmallow will need to give permissions to each application. We remind you that until now, when you were installing a new application on your Android device, you would see the features that the application will be able to access. Unfortunately, you didn’t have the option to disable a specific feature to an application.
Well, things have changed in Android 6.0 Marshmallow and now the users have the ability to limit the features that an application can access. With other words, every application will need permission before accessing some protected features.
As you know, the smartphones that are manufactured by companies such as Xiaomi, Samsung or LG, come with pre-installed applications. In addition, the users were not able to delete any pre-installed applications, but from now on, they will have access to what features these applications can access.
It seems that Google finally understood that the Android users need to have more control on the applications that run on their devices. We’re sure that a lot of users will be happy with the new application control that just got added on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Will you use the new apps permissions that came with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS?
