According to the latest rumors, Bethesda will release the Elder Scrolls 6 game sometime in 2016 or 2017.

Some earlier rumors said that the Elder Scrolls 6 will be released before the end of 2015. However, all those rumors proved to be just hoaxes, disappointing many Elder Scrolls fans. The previous titles of the franchise were named: Oblivious, Morrowind, Skyrim and all of them were well received by all the users.

According to new rumors, the Elder Scrolls 6’s release date is delayed because Bethesda is currently working hard on the last preparations for the release of the Fallout 4. This game was expected by a lot of players and it is finally hitting the stores on November 10, 2015.

Fallout 4 is a multiplayer game, showing that Bethesda wants to start working more on multiplayer games. We remind you that Bethesda has other multiplayer titles such as: Doom or Dishonored 2.

With other words, Bethesda will be able to fully focus on the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6 only after they will finally release the Fallout 4 game.

Some previous rumors said that the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6 will be named “Redguard”. We agree that Bethesda is entitled to use the “Redguard” name, but it was already used on its “The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard” game that got released back in 1998. With other words, the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6 will not be named “Redguard”.

Since Bethesda started working more on the multiplayer platform on its games, there are high chances that the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6 to feature the multiplayer mode. However, for now, this is just a rumor and the developer hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

But we remind you that Bethesda is pretty good at keeping secrets. For example, we didn’t even know that the Fallout 4 is truly under development until a few months ago, when the developer confirmed that the game is in the works and it will be actually released this year.
