Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is the OS that the BlackBerry Priv device will run on but that’s not all, it seems that various security patches are on their way as well.

Based on a study performed at a Cambridge University, a report reveals the fact that 9 out of 10 Android devices are exposed to major security liabilities.

David Kleidermacher has come on board as he was hired by BlackBerry to patch up these Android security glitches found in BlackBeryy Priv, here is what the security specialist announced

With full access to Google Mobile Services, the Google Play app store, the latest hardware specs, and a revolutionary slide-out, touch-enabled keyboard, PRIV offers a no-compromise user experience to privacy-minded consumers and enterprises, he concludes.” John Chen (BlackBerry CEO) says that David Kleidermacher is a valuable addition to their team and that his expertise is much need to improve the BlackBerry Priv.

The latter smartphone is definitely considered a stellar device that will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It will rock a 5.4-inch QHD display, one that is curvy plus it will also sport a sliding keyboard. It is fired up by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM. It seems that further information has been exposed by a retailer moniker Carphone Warehouse (UK based) and the latter claims that the BlackBerry Priv will arrive on November the 6th and the variant without the SIM will retail for £579.95.
