Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Receives A Custom Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Update Via BlissPop
BlissPop is a popular mobile custom firmware developer that just released a custom Android Lollipop ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet (LTE model). The BlissPop custom ROM has 277MB in size and it comes with many features such as: new personalization options, optimization tweaks, battery life extension and more.
However, in order to install this custom ROM, you will need to have your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rooted or else it will not work. At the same time, installing a custom ROM will require you to clear the memory of your mobile device, this is the reason why you will need to install TWRP on your Galaxy Note 3.
After installing TWRP on your Galaxy Note 3, you will need to download the BlissPop Android 5.1.1 Lollipop custom ROM zip and Google Apps zip to your computer (these files are found on the internet). Connect the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to your computer via the USB cable and copy the BlissPop Android 5.1.1 Lollipop custom ROM zip and Google Apps zip files to the microSD card that’s attached to your mobile device.
Now, turn off the Galaxy Note 3 and disconnect it from your computer, now press and hold the “Power+Home+Volume UP” buttons to make the mobile device boot into recovery mode.
Here you will need to clear the device’s memory by selecting
wipe data/factory reset” option and clear the cache memory by selecting the “wipe cache partition”.
After that, you will need to install the custom ROM and Google Apps by getting to the main recovery screen and tapping on the “install zip from SD card”, first, you will select the BlissPop Android 5.1.1 Lollipop custom ROM zip and after the installation is complete, you will need to select the Google Apps zip file.
When the custom ROM and Google Apps have been installed on your Galaxy Note 3, you will just need to head to the main recovery screen and select “reboot system now”. Congrats, your Galaxy Note 3 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop custom ROM!
