Google has announced its new mobile operating system, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and it seems that this new OS is about to be released for many devices.

As expected, the first devices that will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box are the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. At the same time, other older Nexus devices will follow along with some “Google Play Edition” smartphones.

Now, the big question is, when the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be released for devices manufactured by other companies? Well, we have the answer at this question and we’re going to give you a list of devices that will most likely receive this new operating system.

HTC has already confirmed that its One M8 and One M9 devices will start receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow sometime before the end of 2015. There will be also other devices that will follow, but that will most likely happen a few months later. Here are the devices manufactured by HTC that will also get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow:

– HTC One E9+, HTC One ME, HTC One E8, HTC One M8 Eye, HTC Butterfly 3, HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 820, HTC Desire 826.

Usually, Huawei is a bit slower when it comes to Android OS updates, but this might be the chance with the launch of the Huawei’s Nexus smartphone. Since Huawei has manufactured Google’s Nexus 6P, there are high chances that we will see the new operating system on many of its devices sometime soon.

LG has released pretty fast the Android Lollipop update for its devices. We remind you that the release date of the Android Lollipop was November 3, 2014 and LG has released the new OS to its LG G3 on November 10, 2014.

We’ve already noticed the first signs (Android 6.0 Marshmallow on the support page of both devices) that clearly show that the LG G3 and LG G4 are preparing for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

When it comes to Android updates, Motorola is another company that usually moves pretty fast. We remind you that Motorola managed to bring the latest Android OS version to its devices faster than some Nexus models.

Here are the devices that Motorola has confirmed to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow:

– Moto X Pure Edition (3rd gen), Moto X Style (3rd gen), Moto G (3rd gen), Moto X Pure Edition (2nd gen), Moto Maxx, Moto Turbo, Moto X Play, Moto G (2nd gen).

Samsung is not as fast as many expect when it comes to Android updates. For instance, the South Korean multinational electronics company headquartered in Suwon has released the Android Lollipop update for a part of its devices 31 days after Google has released the new OS. Keep in mind that not all devices received it right away and we’re pretty sure that not many people were quite happy about it.

Here is the list of devices that Sony confirmed to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update:

– Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M5, Xperia C5, Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia C4.
