The developers of WhatsApp are very busy these days and it seems that they are preparing to release a new stable version of this application sometime soon.

Yesterday we’ve told you about the WhatsApp 2.12.311 BETA and it seems that, today, the developers have released the WhatsApp 2.12.312 version, which can be downloaded and installed on your Android smartphone right now.

However, before we tell you more about that, we’re going to talk about the “Google Drive”, a feature that’s about to be released for this application pretty soon. This new feature will allow you to save the chat history in the cloud. This means that in case you will lose your device or if your device suddenly “dies”, you will be able to recover the chat history from the “Google Drive”.

The “Google Drive” feature has been spotted a few weeks ago on a WhatsApp BETA version, but it was disabled soon enough for some reason. It seems that the developers have found some issues and decided to disable the feature until they will be able to fix the problems.
