The developers of WhatsApp have released a new BETA version of this great application. This time it’s about the 2.12.306 version which doesn’t come with new features, as the developers are working on fixing all the bugs they could find, and they are trying to improve the stability of the application.
The file size of the WhatsApp 2.12.306 has been increased by only 13KB over the previous BETA version. Unfortunately, there are no new features that this application comes with, no files have been deleted or added. However, over 36 files have been modified and it seems that they are related to the Google Drive feature. Unfortunately, the feature is still not enabled and we’re not sure when the developers will finally do this.
The developers of WhatsApp will most likely bring the Google Drive feature sometime soon. We also remind you that this feature was enabled for a few days, a few weeks ago, when the developers have temporarily enabled this feature for testing purpose.
WhatsApp 2.12.306 BETA: How To Install On Your Android Device
As we’ve already told you, the WhatsApp version 2.12.306 is currently in BETA phase, which means that it can’t be downloaded from the official Android store (Google Play Store). However, this new WhatsApp BETA version can be downloaded from the internet and the safest place is from the official WhatsApp website (whatsapp.com/android). Once you download this APK file on your Android device, you will need to manually install it, but this can’t be done until you enable the “Unknown Sources” feature that’s found on your device’s Settings->Security or Settings->Applications.
Finally, after enabling the “Unknown Sources” feature, go to the folder where you’ve saved the WhatsApp 2.12.306 and tap on it. This will start the installation process and once it completes, you will just need to use your mobile device number to get verified and to log into your WhatsApp account.
