According to the latest rumors, Microsoft is preparing to finally unveil its Surface Pro 4 device. Until now, the American multinational technology company headquartered in Redmond hasn’t confirmed any of these rumors, but we’re sure that next week, they will talk about this device.

The Surface Pro 4 device will be released in two size variants (12-inch and 14-inch) and it will be a 2-in-1 device (laptop and tablet). It seems that both variants will support a QHD resolution of 2160×1440 pixels. When it comes to the hardware components, Microsoft will most likely use one of its new Skylake processors along with 8GB and 16GB of RAM.

The new chip will make the Surface Pro 4 more powerful, smaller and thinner than the Surface Pro 3. The device will feature an integrated chip Intel 530 HD, which is currently the best graphics units from Intel’s Skylake lineup and it is twice as powerful when comparing with the GPU that’s inside the Surface Pro 3.

The Surface Pro 4 will surely run on Windows 10 OS and the 12-inch variant will be priced for around 800 dollars. However, if you want to buy the Surface Pro 4 14-inch variant, you will need to pay up to 100-150 dollars more. Keep in mind that this price doesn’t include the Type Cover cost, but if you had a Surface Pro 3 in the past, you should know that you will be able to use the accessories from your old device on the Surface Pro 4.

We agree that the Surface Pro 3 is an awesome tablet, but we assure you that once you will get your hands on the Surface Pro 4, you will feel the big differences between these two devices. At the same time, the overheating issues will be fixed on the Surface Pro 4, which is one of the main problems that the Surface Pro 3 has.

The Surface Pro 4 is also expected to be released along with the Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 550 smartphones.
