It seems that Minecraft is getting from 2D world to a 3D feel, thanks to the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset.
If you are a Minecraft fan, then you should know that soon enough, you will be able to play the Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition using the virtual reality headset. However, according to The Verge, the gamers will not be able to use the virtual reality headset on Minecraft: Windows 10 edition until sometime in 2016.
We remind you that this is the second time when the developers of Minecraft have connected a Virtual Reality device and made it work in their game. The first time when they did this was in June 2015, during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015. At that time, the developers of Minecraft connected Microsoft’s HoloLens virtual reality headset to their game and saw the game in 3D.
This means that the Minecraft developers are most likely looking to bring the virtual reality to more than a specific VR device. As Sony is progressing with its PlayStation VR Technology, we will most likely be able to play Minecraft in 3D on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 or even PlayStation Vita.
We remind you that, recently, the Minecraft gamers that played this game on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 or even PlayStation Vita, have received the Doctor Who DLC. This new DLC comes with over 100 skins from the Doctor Who series, and we’re sure that there are a lot of fans who will want to buy them. In addition, the Minecraft: PlayStation 3 version received 23 more Trophies.
Will you want to play Minecraft using a Virtual Reality device or you will prefer to stick to the 2D graphics? Are you going to buy the new Doctor Who skin pack?
