Apple has just released the latest updates and now, one of the most asked questions on the internet is: can anyone jailbreak iOS 9 or iOS 9.0.1?
We agree that Apple has worked a lot on its iOS 9 and iOS 9.0.1, but that doesn’t mean that this new operating system can’t be jailbroken. The iOS 8.4 was jailbroken by the TaiG team, while the latest update was jailbroken by the Pangu Team. However, most of the vulnerabilities that Pangu Team used to jailbreak 8.4.1 have been patched in the iOS 9 version and this is the reason why the iOS 9 and iOS 9.0.1 can’t be jailbroken, for now.
We remind you that a YouTuber that goes by the name of iH8Sn0w uploaded a video showing that he successfully jailbroke the iOS 9. The video showed the iOS 9 device along with custom boot logos running, demonstrated code injection and verbose boot. Unfortunately, for the iOS jailbreak fans, iH8Sn0w confirmed that he will not make the iOS 9 jailbreak available for the public.
This means that we will need to wait for Pangu or TaiG teams to find some vulnerabilities, which will allow them to jailbreak the latest versions. But there again, since iH8Sn0w has already demonstrated that this can be done, then we’re sure that one of the two hacker teams will release a jailbreak for them sometime soon.
We also remind you that the iOS 9.1 has been already sent to testers and there are rumors which say that the Pangu and TaiG teams are already working on jailbreaking the iOS 9.1. Pangu and TaiG teams haven’t confirmed that they are working on jailbreaking the 9.1 version, so we’re not sure what they are up to.
We will keep you updated on how the jailbreaking process is working for the iOS 9, iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.1 as soon as we find some new information.
