The Chinese phone manufacturer Xiaomi is preparing to release the Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship and according to some rumors, the device will be available worldwide starting from September 24, while a source from Beijing, China, said that the company will bring it at the end of November. Motorola is currently working on a successor for the Droid Turbo device, which came last year with exceptional specs. We’re curious if the new phone will live up to its predecessor’s level.
Until now, it was believed that the Mi5 will run on the upcoming Snapdragon 820, but it seems that Qualcomm has some production issues and because of that, the release date of this processor has been delayed for the first quarter of 2016, Xiaomi won’t wait until then and will try to find an alternative. Maybe the manufacturer already found a solution, as the rumors suggest that the phone will feature MediaTek chipset, which, according to a leaked Antutu benchmark result, the score was 73,075, which was higher than Samsung’s Exynos 7420 chipset. Most likely, Xiaomi will use a Mediatek Helio X20 chipser with a tri-cluster CPU with a total of 10 cores, although the leaked TENAA certification showed only eight cores. The RAM capacity will probably be increased up to 4GB.
As for the display, it’s expected to measure 5.2-inch and will support a QHD resolution of 1440p. The rear camera will be 16MP and the front camera will be 5MP, while the internal memory won’t be expandable, but it is believed that Xiaomi will bring a variant with a capacity of 128GB.
In addition, according to @KJuma, which posted images of the next Mi5 on Weibo, the device seems to have a metal frame with two loudspeaker cutouts. Moreover, the Mi5 will support a fingerprint scanner and a battery of 3000mAh.

The device is rumored to be called Droid X Force (a rebranded Moto X Force) and according to speculations, it will be sold by Verizon Wireless, which will launch it in October/November. There isn’t much information about this model but we believe that it will have similar specs as the Moto X force, meaning that it will be powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 which will be backed by 3GB of RAM and it will support an internal memory of 64GB. Its screen will measure 5.43-inch and will support a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the rear camera will be 21MP and the battery will have a giant capacity of 3,760mAh battery. Most likely, the back of the device, which will be similar to the Moto X force, is rumored to be made of Kevlar and will support wireless charging.
