Xiaomi Mi 5: To Be Unveiled This Month?
According to Yibaba, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be unveiled on September 24, 2015 and a few days later it will be officially released. Some earlier reports said that this upcoming device will be sold for a price of 374 dollars, but unfortunately, this was not confirmed by Xiaomi.
We remind you that some earlier reports said that the successor of the Xiaomi Mi 4 will be unveiled in July 2015, followed by a release sometime in August 2015. After that, it was reported that the device will be released in the second half of August 2015, but as you already know, this didn’t happen.
Xiaomi Mi 5: Specifications
In concordance with the latest rumors, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 will feature a 5.2-inch QHD display which will support a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and it will be protected by Gorilla Glass 4. When it comes to performance, the upcoming device will either feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor or the next Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 model. The smartphone will also feature a 16MP primary camera, a secondary camera of 13MP, 32/64GB of internal memory and 4GB of RAM.
Yibada claims that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will actually have a 5.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, a battery of 3000 mAh. The same website claims that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with MIUI6 6.0 on top of it.
