Google’s upcoming smartphone Nexus 5 (2015) manufactured by LG is now also known as the Nexus 5X. Expectations are high, since the LG Nexus 5 device that was released two years ago, was a very popular phone and Google is hoping that the next Nexus 5X smartphone will be at least as popular as the previous device.

The Nexus 5X was expected to be unveiled along with the Nexus 6 (2015) on September 29, 2015 but according to some new rumors, the release date of Nexus 6 (2015) will be delayed until next year. With other words, we will most likely see only one new Nexus smartphone this year.

Nexus 5X: Specifications

The upcoming Nexus 5X device will come with new features such as Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, NFC, a fingerprint sensor and the Android Pay service.

The upcoming smartphone will feature a 5.2-inch display which will support a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, it will have 16/32GB of internal storage, 3GB of RAM and it will run on the upcoming Android 6.0 Marshmallow. With other words, the Nexus 5X will be the first device that will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

If you are a person who likes to take photos with smartphones, then you will surely enjoy using the 13MP primary camera that the Nexus 5X will come with. The smartphone will also feature a secondary camera of 5MP and it will be powered by a 2700 mAh battery.

It is good to know that Gizmo China has reported that the device will come with a secondary camera of 4MP, 64GB of internal memory and a battery with a capacity of 3180 mAh.

The specifications we’ve mentioned above are not yet confirmed, but if they are true, we’re pretty sure that this will be an awesome smartphone and a lot of people will want to get their hands on it.

Nexus 5X: Price

In concordance with Android Authority, the 16GB variant of the upcoming Nexus 5K will be sold for 399 dollars. However, for the 32GB variant of the Nexus 5K, you will need to pay 100 dollars more.
