Google is on the home stretch with the preparations for the launch of one of the two Nexuses which will come loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Nexus 5 2015, which is the successor of the phone created by LG will be released on September 29, but its specs are not the most impressive ones, the price of the device isn’t too high either.

Meanwhile, new rumors surfaced about the Xiaomi Mi6, which will have a similar price with superior specs.

Both phones will sport screens with the same size of 5.2-inch, but the Nexus 5 2015 is rumored to support a Full HD resolution, while the Xiaomi Mi6 will feature a UHD display (4K display resolution) which will offer you the best viewing experience, by providing extremely vibrant colors.

LG, the manufacturer of the Nexus 5 2015 hasn’t picked the most powerful processor, opting for the same hardware configuration which was used for the LG G4. This means that under the hood, the new Nexus will hide a hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor which will be backed by 3GB of RAM, while the two storage options will be 32GB and 64GB.

The Xiaomi Mi6 will receive the upcoming octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor consisting of four cores running at 2.5 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz, which will be backed by Adreno 530 graphics and 4GB of RAM. There will be two storage options with capacities of 16/64 GB, which might be expandable up to 128GB.

LG had to make some compromises in the camera department, being forced to limit the resolution to 13MP for the main shooter, which will benefit from OIS and autofocus, while the front camera will most likely support 5MP, like most of the new smartphones.

The Xiaomi Mi6 will take even better quality photos than its predecessor, which sports a 16MP rear camera. The new model is rumored to come with a camera with a resolution of 23MP, which will include features such as OIS and auto focus, while the front camera will be 7MP or 10MP and will serve as an eye scanner. The Nexus 5 2015, on the other hand, will have a fingerprint scanner on its back, below the camera.

The preorders for the Nexus 5 2015, which will be powered by a 2700mAh, will be up on October 13, after the device will be unveiled on September 29, and the 16GB model will cost $399, while the 32GB variant will be $50 more expensive. It isn’t certain yet when the Xiaomi Mi6 will be released, but the rumors say that its price will be between $400-450.
