iOS 9 will be released on September 16, 2015, for the iPhone 4S and its newer version, the iPad 2, the iPad Mini and later and the iPoud touch 5th generation and later.
The iOS 9 public beta is now available for download and the people who want to test out this upcoming operating system can already install it to their iDevices. The new iOS 9 comes with many new features such as a new aggregation application, transit directions for maps, a renamed passbook application, which is now called Wallet, along with improvements to carplay and notes.
The features mentioned above will be released for the iPhones, while the iPads are going to receive a picture-to-picture support for video, a new quicktype keyboard, split screen support and multitasking features.
Installing iOS 9 Public Beta on your iDevice
We remind you that since the iOS 9 is current in beta, you might find a lot of bugs and issues. However, if you still want to test it out, then we’re going to tell you how to download it and install it to your iDevice.
To download the iOS 9 Public Beta, you will need to head to the Apple Beta Software Program website and tap on the Sign Up button. You will have to enter your Apple ID information and after that you will get an email with the Download Profile Link. Tap this link on your iDevice and, after that, select the “Install button” and enter the pin that you have on your mobile device.
After that, restart the iOS device and go to the Settings->General->Software Update and you will see the iOS 9 BETA listed as a “waiting software update”. Just proceed with the installation as you would do with any other iOS update. When the installation of the iOS 9 BETA is complete, your device will restart and it will run on the iOS 9 Public Beta.
