WhatsApp is the application with the largest number of users (900 million active users) – a higher percent being represented by those who have an Android smartphone. That’s why the developers are updating this version more often, like every 2-3 times per weeks or per day, as it happened today.
The WhatsApp version 2.12.275 was available for download this morning, a bit later than the 2.12.276 version was released, and a few hours later, the 2.12.277 version has uploaded to the official website.
WhatsApp Version 2.12.277 For Android
The new WhatsApp 2.12.277 version for Android doesn’t bring any new features, but instead, it comes with improvements and bug fixes. The “Google Drive” feature is still under development, as we’ve seen some files being changed in there, which are related to this feature.
The “Google Drive” feature will allow you to save the backup file of the WhatsApp chat history on the cloud. This way, you will be able to access the backup file from any other device (as long as it is connected to the internet).
