The Mozilla Firefox web browser for iOS is now available as public preview and it can be downloaded and installed on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch device. However, currently, the application is available only on the New Zealand App Store.

The good news is that today we’re going to teach you how to access the New Zealand version of the App Store and download the Mozilla Firefox application on your iOS device.

Here are the steps that you will need to take in order to install Mozilla Firefox on your iOS device

First of all, you will need to launch the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and scroll down at the bottom. Here, you will see the Apple ID and by tapping on it, you will notice a “Sign Out’ option.

So, sign out from your Apple ID and try to download a free application. After you do this, the App Store will ask you to log into your account and this is when you will tap on “Create NEW Apple ID”. Make sure that you select “New Zealand” from the list of countries and tap “Next”.

You will have to accept the Terms and Conditions and Apple Privacy Policy and once you do that, you will be able to start creating your new Zealand-based iTunes accounts. You will need to enter a valid email address, your birthday and many more. Once you’ve filled all of required information, tap on the “Next” button and here you will need to input your billing information, a New Zealand based address, a phone number and a postal code.

HINT: You can easily find a New Zealand postal code and address on the internet.

Now you will need to complete the verification process by accessing the email address you’ve inserted above and once you get the account activated, login with the new App Store account.

The new Apple Store account is configured as a Zealand based Apple ID and by searching Firefox, you will find it and you will be able to install and use it on your iPhone or iPad.

After the installation of Firefox is complete, you can sign out from the new account and sign into your old Apple ID account.
