The Fire TV was launched last year, in April, and the fans loved it for the multitude of options it offers. The device looking like a black box with flat sides and sharp corners connects to a HDTV and has a voice search feature which allows you to find your favorite show, to play it immediately.

In 2015, Roku released the 4230R model with a new remote control, which allows supports the voice search feature. The Roku 3 set-up box has a more awkward design. It has also the shape of a black box, but the edges are rounded. Below, you’ll find a comparison between the two products.

You can search for movies and TV shows and add them to a list, to watch them later, and if you want to watch a certain movie, there’s the voice search feature which is integrated directly into the box, not needing a remote control for that.
