You can also manually check if your Galaxy Note 4 has any new updates by going to your phone’s Settings->About Phone->Software update. The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OTA Update has the firmware version N910FXXU1COH4 and it comes with security tweaks, better battery life and user interface improvements.

The new update was firstly seen in Austria, Italy and Sweden. It is good to know that more Galaxy Note 4 (N910F) devices will get the official Android 5.1.1 Lollipop soon enough. The users will need to be patient and wait until they receive the update via OTA.

Keep in mind that in order to receive the new update, your Galaxy Note 4 needs to run on stock Android firmware. With other words, in case you are using a custom ROM on your Galaxy Note 4 device, you will never receive the official Android 5.1.1 Lollipop via OTA.

According to rumors, the Android 5.1.1 version will be the latest Lollipop build, because the big search engine company is preparing to finally release its upcoming Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
