We still don’t have an official release date for the next Nexus 5, but in the past months, the tech websites kept on digging for more information about its specs, and many believe that the device will arrive in September or October. The Note 5 was announced two weeks ago and it’s already on sale at a price of $249.99 with a two-year contract.

In 2014, Samsung has been suffering from a continuous failure and only in autumn it started to get back on the right track, after releasing the Galaxy Alpha with a metallic frame. The Note 4 was the phone with the best specs, but in relation with other Samsung phones, but the phablet still had that old look which needed an urgent overhaul.

The previous Note 4 was much more powerful compared to the Galaxy S5.

However, the chipset has been upgraded to Exynos 7420 and it’s powered by two quad core processors clocked at 1.5GHz and 2.1GHz, which are way faster than the octa core Snapdragon 810 CPU. The device houses 4GB of RAM and two variants of internal storage (32 and 64GB) with no slot for expansion; the back camera is 16MP and the front camera is 5MP, having the same features as the cameras from the Galaxy S6.

As for the battery, it’s non-removable and has a capacity of 3000mAh, being 220mAh smaller than that of the predecessor.
