Google and Apple are summoned to a contest. The battle is going down between the Nexus 6 vs the iPhone 6 Plus device. Continue reading if you wish to discover the best and the worst of each of these devices.
Design, Screen & More
In terms of design, the Nexus 6 mirrors the Moto X’s look. This is because, Motorola was in charge of creating the Nexus 6. The device has an aluminum chassis and the central camera unit which is located on the back along with the LED flash. While the back is entirely made out of plastic, the aluminum edges give the Nexus 6 a more elegant overall look. You can find it in white hues and blue ones.
As for the iPhone 6 Plus, this device is made out of anodised aluminum and silver, gold and grey and the color choices available. The latter device has a 5.5-inch display whereas the Nexus 6 has only a 6-inch one.
The measurements for the Nexus 6 are the following 159.2×82.3x10mm and it weighs 184g whilst the measurements for the iPhone 6 Plus are 158.1×77.8x 7.1mm and it weights 172g. Because it all comes down to behemoth screens, both the Nexus 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are categorized as being phablets. So enjoying a video or a movie has never been more relaxing with these two devices. Nexus 6 comes packed with an AMOLED QuadHD resolution (2560×1440 pixels) whereas the iPhone 6 Plus has a Retina HD (resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels).
The Nexus 6 has:
- a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 ( runs at 2.7GHz )
- Adreno 420 graphics
- 3GB RAM.

A 13 MP camera has been integrated in the Nexus 6(f/2.0 aperture) OIS and 4K video whereas the iPhone 6 Plus has an 8MP camera. And eventhough Apple’s camera is not as big as the Nexus one, Apple has improved the quality of the photos. So, you also have OIS and the aperture is f/2.2. Sadly, iPhone 6 Plus is missing out on the 4K video recording element, however there is the 1080p recording element instead.

So, those of you who enjoy the iOS gizmos, you get to hold on your preferred apps and iTunes while those who rather stay loyal to Android can enjoy Google Play Store.
