Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Custom ROM By Resurrection Remix – Installation

First of all, you should know that this custom ROM can be installed only on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (4G Model with the model number SM-N9005). In order to check your device’s model number, go to Settings->About Phone and you will see it there.

Keep in mind that the installation of the custom ROM will require you to clean the memory of your smartphone, which means that you should make a data backup by using a recovery application such as the “Clockwork Mod (CMW) Recovery.

After that, you will need to make sure that you have the USB drivers installed on your PC, or else your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will not be recognized by the computer. Last but not least, make sure that your device has 80% battery left or more.

First of all, you will need to download the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop custom ROM by Resurrection Remix and Google Apps to your computer. Now connect your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to your computer using an USB cable.

Now, copy the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop zip and Google Apps .zip file to the microSD card that’s located on your smartphone. We suggest you to place the zip files into the root directory of the microSD card so that you can find the files easier.

After you’ve placed the zip files into the microSD card, turn off the smartphone and disconnect it from the computer. Now, perform the usual recovery mode by pressing and holding the Power+Home+Volume up buttons.

As soon as the device boots into recovery mode, clear the smartphone’s memory by selecting “wipe data/factory reset” and clear the cache by selecting “wipe cache partition”.

Now, install the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop by Resurrection Remix by selecting the “install zip from SD card” option and choose the Android 5.1.1 .zip file that you’ve saved on the microSD card. Do the same with the Google Apps zip that you’ve saved and you’re done.

When the installation is complete, select “reboot system now” from the recovery menu and your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will boot with the custom ROM.
