The developers of WhatsApp are updating this application very often, especially the Android version, as most of the WhatsApp users have phone that run on this mobile operating system. The WhatsApp 2.12.235 has been released, and it comes with some new features along with the usual bug fixes and improvements.

For some reason, Google Drive was available on a previous version of WhatsApp, but now, it has been removed. It seems that the developers are still working on this feature, and they are going to bring it back as soon as they release a new version of WhatsApp. The new APK file has decreased by only 4KB, and it has around 9 modified files.

WhatsApp 2.12.235: How to Install on Android

The WhatsApp 2.12.235 version is currently in beta testing, and because of this, you won’t find the application on the Google Play Store. However, the application can be downloaded from the Internet, and the safest place to get the installation file (APK) is

HINT: You will need to enable a feature called Unknown Sources, which allows you to install APK files that you’ve downloaded from third-party sources. This feature can be found in either Settings->Applications or Settings->Security and can be enabled by just checking the box in front of it.

After enabling the Unknown Sources feature, you will just need to head to the location where you’ve saved the WhatsApp 2.12.235 APK file and tap on it to start the installation process.
