Neither Microsoft, nor Apple has confirmed the existence of these tablets, but more rumors about their specs kept appearing in the past weeks. The Surface pro 4 and the iPad Pro are expected to be unveiled by the end of 2015, and more about them you’ll find out below.

September 9 is the most probable date to be set for the release of Apple’s upcoming products and we’re assuming that the iPad Pro will make its appearance along with the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. The Surface Pro 4, on the other hand, will probably reach the stores in October.

We’ll start with the iPad Pro, which will come with a 12.9inches screen that will support a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels and it is said that it will feature Force Touch, a pressure-sensitive technology which will allow the users to trigger all kinds of controls, depending on the levels of force.

Inside, it will feature a new A9 chipset or the current A8X model, it will run on iOS 9 and will support up to 2GB of RAM. Most likely, Apple will add NFC technology and a USB Type-C port.

The latest rumors suggest that the tablet will feature a detachable keyboard, likewise the Surface Pro 4, and will have four sets of speakers, which will be found along the top and bottom. The microphone will sit on the right hand side and the home button will house the Touch ID (fingerprint scanner), at the top will be placed an iSight camera and there will be also a lightning connector.

The Surface Pro 4 will be available in two variants of screens: a smaller 12inches and a larger 14inches variant, which will support 2K resolution. The laplet will run on Windows 10 and the rumors say that the processor will be Skylake, from Intel.

Recently, Digitimes reported that Microsoft ordered 256GB SSDs from Samsung and they’ll be shipped in September, which means that the tablet will be complete, on time.

It is also said that the Surface Pro 4 will be manufactured using Pegatron Technology, the body will be made of a magnesium-aluminum alloy, which will be very thin, and the camera module will be ordered from Newmax and Largan Precision.
