Google is in the habit of unveiling a Nexus mobile phone every year, so 2015 should be no different. Word on the “street” is that a new Nexus 5 phone will arrive as well as a new Nexus 6 device. Scroll down to find out when the devices will be launched in the UK as well as more info regarding the price and other hearsays regarding Google’s 2015 Nexus devices.

Specs and other features about the Nexus 5(2015) & Nexus 6 (2015)

Everything indicates that Google is working not on one but two Nexus devices. From @Onleaks we found out that the Huawei Nexus will sport a 5.7 inch screen while the LG Nexus will have a 5.2 inch screen. The devices will rock a metal chassis, front added speakers and the famous fingerprint scanner will be spotted on the back. The LG device will measure 146.9×72.9×8 and 9.8mm whilst the Huawei one will measure 159.4×78.3×6.6 and only 8.5mm.

Nexus 6

GizmoChina reports that the LG Nexus 5 device will roll out with a 5.2 inch full-HD P-OLED screen, fired by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor. It will also house up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and 64GB of storage space. The battery will be a 3180mAh one and the cameras included will be 13MP front one and 4MP back end one plus you’ll get the USB Type-C (QuickCharge 2.0). Expect the Nexus 5 to deliver an aluminum case and a plastic back cover.

As for the Huawei Nexus 6 device, the same source claims that it will have a 5.7 WQHD AMOLED screen with a metal frame, an amazing 21MP back camera and the wireless charging option.

Apparently, Google has been negotiating with the LG and Huawei Company for the making of the upcoming Nexus devices. In the past years, LG was in charge of making the Nexus 4 and 5 device while the Nexus 6 was made by Motorola. The rest of the line the Nexus 7 was created by Asus, HTC was in charge of Nexus 9 and the Nexus 10 was designed by Samsung.

So, this year, it’s most likely that Nexus 6(2015 version) will be made by Huawei while the Nexus 5(2015 version) is in the hands of LG.

Nexus 5 (2015) costs for the UK and other news

If you’re curious about the price, for now all we can do is presume what the costs will be. Given the fact that the Nexus 6 was priced at £499, Google won’t raise the prices any higher than that for the Nexus 5 device.

So, we can expect the best mobile device at a pretty affordable deal. If the manufacturer Huawei designs the Nexus 6 (2015) phone, expect an even lower price, somewhere around £300.

In other news, the Nexus 5 will receive the latest Android M as soon as the latter is launched. Besides the top enhancements regarding this OS, the update will also come out with a new mobile payment system, unfortunately this will only be accessible in the US. The newest OS will be out and about this fall season.
