The Note 5 will be unveiled today, in New York and London, at the Unpacked media event, which will kick off at 11am EST (4pm BST).

Until a few weeks ago, it was believed that the phablet will be introduced at the annual IFA technology trade show from Berlin, which will take place at the beginning of September, but more recent rumors claimed that the Note 5 will be announced on August 13.

The Nexus 5 2015, on the other hand, will be released in October, but it may not deliver the same performance as the Note 5. So, here are some of the reasons why you should get the Note 5.

LG Nexus 5X

Of course, all Nexus devices come loaded with Google’s latest operating system, so the Nexus 5 2015 will arrive with Android M. However, the Note 5 will be on the list of Samsung phones with a high priority to upgrade to Android M.

Fingerprint Scanner

Google wants to promote its new mobile payment system, Android Pay, and told LG to integrate a fingerprint scanner into the Nexus 5 2015. This payment service will be part of Android M, so every phone that has a fingerprint sensor and will be upgraded to Android M, will allow the users to make online payments.

Samsung introduced the fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy S5 and since then, the company continued to improve this feature. The service was added to the Note 4 phablet as well and the upcoming device will come with Samsung Pay, the South Korean tech giant’s own payment service.

Better specs

The Note 5 will be powered by an octa core Exynos 7420 chipset which will be backed by 4GB of RAM and will feature a 16MP rear camera with OIS, and a secondary camera of 5MP. It will house a battery of 3000mAh and will come with a heart rate monitor and sensors for UV and SpO2.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5

The Nexus 5 2015 is rumored to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor which will be backed by 4GB of DDR3 RAM, it will house a battery of 3180mAh which will support quick charging, the rear camera will be 13MP, while the front camera will be 4MP.

S-Pen Stylus

The Nexus 5 will have a 5.2inches screen, so it won’t need a stylus. The Note 5, like all of the previous phablets, comes with an S-Pen Stylus, which is improved every year. This tool will have new features, so you should prepare for the best!
