Sharing is caring!

The internet is overwhelmed by rumors about the specs of both phones, but we can’t guarantee you that whatever you read about each device is true, because nobody knows for sure what they’ll contain. Neither Apple, nor Samsung, is giving information about its next creation.

So, based on the rumors we collected from the internet, we’ll try to make a comparison between the iPhone 7 (or 6S) and the Galaxy S7.

The iPhone 7 is rumored to come with the same variations consisting of a 4.7inches screen and a larger 5.5inches screen, likewise the previous model, but the displays will be 3D and will feature Sapphire Glass and Quad HD/4K resolution.

The Galaxy S7 will be available also in two variants, being paired with an edge-curved model, but it’s not sure if Samsung will increase its size up to 5.5inches or it will leave it at 5.1inches. What we’re sure is that the phone will support 4K resolution and it will be ideal for movies.

All reports indicate that the iPhone 7 will be powered by an A9 processor, coupled with an M9 co-processor and 2GB of RAM, and some say that the minimum capacity for the internal memory will be 64GB.

The Galaxy S7 will probably receive a faster 64bit Exynos processor and the rumors say that it will support up to 8GB RAM, but we doubt this will be possible. We believe that the maximum RAM capacity will be 4GB and the internal storage will be available in three variants, as normal, and they won’t be expandable.

Apple has kept the 8MP resolution for too long and it’s time to move forward. Some rumors say that the iPhone 7 will have a 12MP dual-lens DSLR camera which will beat smartphones in terms of quality.

The Galaxy S7, on the other hand, will have a 20Mp or a 30MP camera on the back and a 7MP or a 10MP front camera with GigaPixel feature.

Additional features

The iPhone 7 will benefit from the Force Touch technology, it will have an improved Touch ID, it will support wireless charging and will come with a brand new color: rose gold.

The Galaxy S7 will receive an advanced Touch ID button and retina scan, it will support 5G network connection and fast charging technology, but it isn’t established yet if the body will be resistant to water like the Galaxy S5.
