Autumn is approaching quickly and along with it, when the time will come, we’ll enjoy the fruits of the labor of many mobile manufacturers. In short time, we’ll welcome two new phones, among others, but in this article we’ll focus on the Moto X 2015 and the LG G4 Pro.
The G4 Pro is expected to have a premium look and glass on both sides, like most of the other LG devices. The casing will contain metal, as well, so it’s not something new. But without a doubt, LG will work a little bit on the design, to make sure that it will be loved by its fans.
The Moto X 2015, which is the third generation, will retain the plastic back plate, but it will feature a metallic strip which will be placed on the vertical and will contain the three elements: camera, flash and logo. In addition, the buyers will be able to customize their phones the way they want, ordering from the Moto Maker website a different color/material for the backing. Another extra feature is the water resistance.
The Moto X is expected to feature a 5.2inches with a pixel density of 565ppi, while LG G4 Pro will be equipped with a larger 5.8inches screen with 506ppi, but both of them will support 2K resolution.
It seems that, slowly, the camera resolution increased from a day to another. The rear camera of the LG G4 Pro will support 27MP (LED flash, laser autofocus, optical image stabilization) and will produce amazing photos, but we’re curious what shooter will get the Nexus 5 2015 device, which will be produced by LG.
The secondary camera from the G4 Pro will be 8MP, and we’ve heard some rumors that the Moto X 2015 will have a 5MP front shooter, combined with a 16MP or a 21MP back camera. Either way, Motorola is slowly making improvements to the camera department, after neglecting it years in a row.
The new 14nm Snapdragon 820 chip, which scored over 85,00 in the AnTuTu benchmark testing, will power the LG G4 Pro. This chipset will contain an octa core processor clocked at 3.2GHz, and will be paired with 4GB of RAM. The Moto X 2015 will have lower specs, being powered by a hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz combined with 4GB of RAM.
The Moto X 2015 is rumored to be launched in September and it will cost $555 without a contract. The LG G4 Pro will be much more expensive, costing around $900.
