Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are two of the best phones that money can buy in the present market.

The pair was unveiled in late March and started selling in April, but up to now, the company is not done with throwing in different variants of the phones in order to boost sales.

Recently, it was reported that the South Korean market has already accounted for more than one million unit sales for the pair, which is a great feat to achieve for a phone that sells for a whopping $750 or even more in the case of the Galaxy S8+. In order to stay relevant in the market, the tech giant has just released two more color variants to add to the existing ones, making it a total of five color variants for the S8 and an amazing six variants for the S8+.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+Coral Blue

So far, the Galaxy S8 has been available in four color variants that include Midnight Black, Arctic Silver, Orchid Gray and Maple Gold. However, the Korean company has just added a new color variant in the shape of Coral Blue. If your memory serves you well, this color variant was a fan favorite when the Galaxy Note 7 was unveiled in 2016 and when the phone was discontinued, Samsung decided to bring the same variant to the Galaxy S7 Edge – and it helped drive sales up.

Now that the same Coral Blue color variant is here, Samsung expects to see the same happening to the Galaxy S8 as far as sales are concerned. Previously, the S8 was only available in Korea in three finishes of Midnight Black, Arctic Silver and Orchid Gray and with this new addition; it now takes the total to four.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S8+ has received a new Rose Pink color variant that ups the total of colors available to six. This new variant adds to the likes of Midnight Black, Arctic Silver, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue and Maple Gold. However, in Korea, the phone was previously available in two colors of Coral Blue and Orchid Gray and now it has a third option.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ Rose Pink Variants

Apparently, the main reason why the two color variants have been added to the collection in South Korea is so as to attract more women into buying the Galaxy S8 and S8+. We all know how ladies can be attracted to bright colors and now that summer is here, such vibrant color variants should do the trick, especially for those looking to go on vacation. With the Coral Blue and Rose Pink now released, one would be wondering where Samsung has forgotten another color variant that would definitely do well to attract ladies – purple.

Whether this one will come in at some point or not is still unknown, but it’ll be interesting to see how the two new colors perform in the market as Samsung looks to stimulate the consumers’ desire for vibrant colors.
