Microsoft fans are in for a treat considering the fact that the tech giant is going to release two brand new smartphones equipped with Windows 10. They’ve announced the 950 series to be a big hit and considering their specs and functionality conferred by Windows 10 they are sure not to disappoint and at the same time offer their competition a pretty good run down for their money.
The Microsoft Lumia 950 comes equipped with a 5.2 inch WQHD OLDED screen powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 paired with 3GB of RAM. Its main feature though is its whopping 20MP PureView technology snapper equipped with triple LED flash. Frontal camera wise, it measures 5MP and we can guarantee that it is amazing when it comes to video calls and selfies.
When it comes to storage, the device will come with 32GB of space with no possibilities to further expand it via an SD card. The 950XL version will not come equipped with a card slot as well. The Lumia 950 XL is a bit larger than the base model and it has better processing power conveyed by the Snapdragon 810 chip.
There is not much room for comparison regarding both devices except the bigger screen and a more potent processor but Microsoft is aiming big on their two differently sized models which will rank them pretty high in terms of sales regarding smartphone devices. Microsoft Lumia 950 XL’s display will measure 5.7 inches and another difference is that it will sport an AMOLED screen as opposed to the WQHD of its smaller brother.
Both devices are regarded as stellar flagships and considering the fact that they come equipped with Windows 10 right from the box and the best choice in order which smartphone one wishes to opt for only comes to a matter of preference if size is not a deciding factor when it comes to purchasing such device.
