Apple fans are in for a treat as the Cupertino-based tech giant is heavily rumored to launch the all new iPad Pro 2 in no time at all. It is believed that it will be a premium device which packs a lot of power and comes without any bezels.
The device will surely come with a single variant which has a screen of 10.5 inches. Studio Neat’s Dan Provost has anticipated that the new device will share the same height of the already existing iPad Mini but it will come with the same resolution as the more premium 12.9 inch model.
Apple is sure to change the way in which tablets are designed and for the first time since its debut on the market, the new iPad Pro 2 is believed to come equipped with an edge-to-edge display which completely removes bezels from the device.
Another rumor is that the physical home button will be a thing of the past as it will most likely have a built-in fingerprint scanner in its own screen. Not only will this screen look like something out of a SF movie but the device will surely have TrueTone display for the best visual experience possible. Not only will it display sharper and crisper colors but bearing in mind it will have the same pixel density as the 10.5 inch model we will surely be in for a treat.
The iPad Pro 2 is said to come equipped with an amazing sound system provided by a quad microphone setup which will satisfy even the most pretentious customer when it comes to sound quality. Ming-Chi Kuo who is an analyst for KGI Security has hinted that the iPad Mini will be a thing of the past as Apple will no longer focus on marketing the respective device.
Having that in mind, one can draw the conclusion that the new 10.5 iPad Pro 2 will completely replace the iPad Mini. Not only is this a high probability but Apple is believed to stop updating the iPad Mini 4 as well in order to fully focus on marketing and developing the new iPad Pro 2.
Regarding the release date, Apple is believed to launch their device somewhere in March this year. This news comes with a question mark as a lot of us were expecting a tablet manufactured by Apple to come equipped with an OLED display. This will probably happen no sooner than 2018.
